INSURANCE REPLACEMENT VALUE STATEMENT

If your insurance company asks you to provide a replacement value statement from your harp manufacturer, please complete the following. We will complete the standard form and mail or fax it back to you.  If mail only please allow 5 -7 business days transit time from date of request. If we are sending via fax please allow 2- 3 business days to reach you or your insurance company.
 
We can/will complete this form for all VENUS harp owners regardless of the age of their harp.  We can/will also complete this form for any other make of harp that we have rebuilt and sold to you as a used harp. Sale must have been made directly through us. 

We cannot complete this form for any other make of harp that is currently under their warranty period, or if you originally bought it from another manufacturer or supplier and their personnel have maintained the harp until present.  The information must be supplied directly by them to you or your insurance agent. 

W&W Musical Instrument Company/VENUS Harps has been requested to supply an Insurance Replacement Value Statement by the individual noted below for the instrument noted below. W&W Musical/VENUS harps has NOT physically examined this instrument and makes no claims to its present state of being. This Insurance replacement value is therefore according to current list price for comparable models. This statement does not warranty or guarantee condition of any instrument or accessory listed. Current list prices can always be viewed on our web site at www.venusharps.com for all current production models and specialty finish upgrade costs.

Cost of this service is $25.00 per request. If overnight service is requested there will be an additional charge of $25.00 (total of $50.00). Payment can be made by credit card through online payment or by calling the business office at 847 818-0578  between the hours of 10AM-6PM CentralStandardTime. Payment can be made by clicking the following button.  

This online payment is through Paypal. You do not have to be a member of paypal to make payment and you do not have to become a member of paypal to use this service. Payments are made through Valkyrie Cordes Inc.

Due to overwhelming requests, ALL Requests received via this form on email, fax or phone call will be completed and faxed within one week of receipt to client or their insurance company.  In the interim you can print off a copy of the price list from this web site and give that to your insurance company which was sufficient for most companies in the past.  Payment is due at the time of request via major credit card, no exceptions.  Please make sure you include all the information needed, we will not make calls to get fax numbers, addresses, Harp ID"s or model/finish information.  Incomplete information will result in the failure of us to satisfy your request.


VENUS harp models are NAMES not numbers (Ex. Classic, Penti etc).  Please DO NOT quote the No.74, No.75, No.76 - these are the generations of the action plate designs and have nothing to do with model or Harp ID's.  All harps are tracked for warranty and other purpose via their Harp ID and then their model name.  The actual Harp ID is found on the very lower left hand corner of the action plate under all the other etched printing.  It will be a 3 digit number for older harps and harps after late 1982 will begin the 4 digit series.

Appraisals for value purposes for estates, sales and other requests outside of general replacement insurance
 
If you are asking for an actual Physical APPRAISAL of your harp based on its overall physical condition (major component and structural integrity) as well as cosmetic and performance condition, for purposes other than insurance coverage please be advised that we cannot do appraisals over the phone, via fax, email or by using photos.  An appraisal of a harp once put into writing is a legal document, therefore the appraisal for the harp must be done in person with either factory personnel at the VENUS location and the actual harp being appraised or by prior arrangement for a factory tech to examine the harp in its location to suggest an appraisal value.  There is no charge for this service at the VENUS Factory in Chicago, we only ask that you make an appointment to bring the harp in for appraisal and it is conducted during normal factory/showroom hours Monday - Friday.  
 
If it is impossible to physically bring the harp to the factory, a factory tech can come to the harps location if/when he is scheduled for either a delivery or regulation trip into your area, there is a minimal travel fee for this service but must be scheduled prior to the tech's planned trip so he can arrange appraisal time to coordinate with other scheduled activities.  A tech being sent for this specific purpose ONLY will be at the cost of his round trip travel expenses to and from the factory to your location and an hourly rate for his time in travel and while conducting the physical examination of the harp in question.  Payment is due in full at the time of physical appraisal.  Special trips such as this will be at the discretion and decision of VENUS management and the availability of personnel and we are provided with adequate notice of the time frame involved.
